About the project

Farnek Buddy is an AI-powered HR management companion that transforms how employees interact with workplace processes. Rather than navigating rigid forms and dashboards, users converse naturally to raise leave requests, complete mandatory surveys, track HR tasks, and access company policies — with an AI layer that understands context, routes requests intelligently, and generates structured responses in real time. The result is an HR platform that employees actually want to use.

01 — Challenge

The Challenge

Traditional HRMS platforms have notoriously poor adoption rates because they prioritise data capture over user experience. Employees navigate complex menus for tasks that should take seconds, leading to proxy submissions through managers and data gaps that undermine HR reporting. The challenge was to build something that felt less like enterprise software and more like messaging a knowledgeable colleague — while maintaining the auditability and data integrity that HR and compliance teams require.

02 — Solution

Our Solution

We designed a conversational UI built directly on top of structured HR workflows. The AI layer acts as an intelligent translator between natural language inputs and system actions — recognising intent, pre-filling form data, and presenting structured outputs in a chat-native format. Managers receive a clean approval dashboard with full audit trails; employees get a chat-first experience with smart quick-replies, context-aware prompts, and instant status updates.
